Supplement updated: October 2, 2026
D’FYNE uses YouTube API Services through a private publishing tool operated by authorized magazine personnel. Website visitors do not need to connect a Google account.
Information accessed and used. With the channel owner’s authorization, the tool reads channel identity and video metadata, including titles, descriptions, processing results, privacy settings and publication times. It uploads selected videos and supports publication scheduling, subject to applicable YouTube restrictions. This information helps verify the correct channel, track production and prevent duplicate uploads.
Information stored. The tool stores an encrypted Google OAuth refresh token, channel ID and connection date. It also stores upload records, including video IDs, article references, filenames, file hashes, titles, descriptions, status observations and intended publication times. Upload-session addresses are encrypted. The tool does not collect or store Google account passwords.
Storage and sharing. Cloudflare hosts the publishing tool and its stored records. Selected videos and metadata are transmitted to Google/YouTube to perform authorized operations. Authorized D’FYNE personnel may access these records. We do not sell YouTube API data or use it for advertising targeting.
Retention. Local upload records are scheduled for automatic deletion 30 days after creation. Deletion removes the stored video ID, metadata, file hashes and encrypted upload-session address. A minimal marker remains within the article reference’s storage location to prevent reuse of that reference and duplicate uploads. It contains no video metadata or Google credentials. Records created before the retention update require a status check by the administrator to activate automatic deletion.
Deleting local records. Authorized personnel can use “Delete this local upload record” on the publisher page to delete a selected record immediately. Deleting a local record does not delete or change the corresponding video on YouTube. Videos already uploaded can be managed in YouTube Studio.
Disconnecting and revoking access. Authorized personnel can use “Remove local YouTube authorization” on the publisher page to remove the stored Google credentials immediately. Records with active retention checks are then removed during their next daily check; individual records can also be deleted immediately using the record deletion control. Local disconnection does not revoke Google’s permission grant. The channel owner can revoke that grant through Google Account permissions.
The tool checks authorization daily while connected. When Google reports that the refresh token is invalid or revoked, the stored credentials are removed. If authorization cannot be successfully validated for 30 days, the stored credentials are removed. Records with active retention checks are subsequently removed when those checks detect that credentials are absent.
Deletion assistance. Requests to delete locally stored authorization or YouTube-related records can be sent to dfynefitnessmag@gmail.com. The administrator can assist with deletion, including older records whose automatic retention checks have not been activated.
Cookies. The connection process uses a temporary security cookie to validate Google authorization. This cookie is not used for advertising.
Google’s handling of information is described in its Privacy Policy.
