Don’t try to make too many big changes at once. Prioritize what you want for yourself and pick the most important to start. Once you have mastered that for a few weeks, add another from your list. This will help with not feeling too overwhelmed in the beginning.

Be diligent about reading labels and tracking food intake.

Eat a healthy diet that includes the colour spectrum.

Listen to your body and rest when needed.

Journalling. It can help clear your mind before bed and release the day’s ups and downs. You’ll probably sleep much better once you start writing in a journal.

GET YOUR GYM CLOTHES AND EVERYTHING YOU NEED READY THE NIGHT BEFORE A PLANNED WORKOUT.

DON’T ALLOW FATIGUE OR LAZINESS TO THWART YOUR PLANS.

MEDITATE.

Try starting with a 10-minute meditation before bed with an app. It may not be easy at the beginning, but you may soon find it helps you sleep more soundly.

Share your love and try to uplift others.

Forgive yourself on days when you don’t stay on track.

GET PLENTY OF SLEEP.

Plan for a fun class or new routine to get excited about.

COOK IN BULK SO YOU CAN GRAB AND GO.

Try new healthy recipes. We can all get caught up in the same boring foods and there are so many healthy options out there.

Remind yourself that you are worth it.

Pick one thing a week to treat yourself to, whether it be a hot bath with your favourite Epsom salts or a new book to read; maybe it’s an exercise you’ve never tried before. Whatever it is, it’s something just for you and gives you some time for yourself.

Smile

Smiling and laughing produces endorphins and you’ll always feel better when you’re happy...
