Sibling love:

 At the age of eight, my brother was born as a blue baby. He was later diagnosed with DiGeorge Syndrome. Watching him fight for his life and be happy to live every day on this earth helped me be thankful for my health and every day we have here. I watched him and our family support him through 27 surgeries at Sick Kids Hospital, including three open-heart surgeries.

Family ties:

 I’m most proud of my beautiful family and happiest when I’m with them.
